Who is this?
I am Marcel, a student at Carleton University for Computer Science Honors. I have made this site as a medium to improve my writing and to get some of my thoughts out into the world. I also wanted to tinker with github pages and making a blog was the perfect opportunity to do so.
What are your interests?
In the realm of computer science, there are many fields that are greatly interesting to me. I’ve always had a deep interest in the behind-the-scenes and the development of things. I like solving complex problems and learning about areas of software development, cybersecurity and math through coursework and my own endeavors. Outside of that, I like taking long walks, French Touch music, fostering community and playing video games.
What are you doing right now?
I am still at my co-op position through FSWEP and doing my studies. I’m also working on some side projects of mine to learn more skills and to have fun.
Are you open to work?
I am! I am looking for a 4-8 month position for May 2026 and potentially an 8-month position in January 2027 if the former falls through.
